The truths behind human trafficking are important for adults, parents, and children to understand and recognize to keep themselves and others safe, and MCPL will help educate you! 

Join Officer Sarah D'Acquisto from the Wausau Police Department and Brenda Bayer, Advocate for the Women's Community, for an informative presentation on myths and trends of human trafficking. Sarah and Brenda will cover what human trafficking looks like in Central Wisconsin, the myths and truths behind trafficking, how social media plays a role in recruitment, red flags, and other topics. There will be time for questions and a discussion at the end of the presentation. 

Free and open to the public. The content of this presentation is mature and is intended for teens, young adults, and adults.
