Tim Van Deelen, deer hunter and professor of wildlife ecology at UW-Madison, will review a bit of the history of this topic and its scientific context. He'll also discuss recent research and population modeling that attempt to determine the effects of wolves on Wisconsin deer populations compared to the impacts of hunting and the impacts of other predators.
